Boeing wants state to boost training, trim labor costs

Lanham said her group plans to work closely with a legislative task force this year to push for a statewide aerospace training program. "We're not meeting the skills the industry needs," Lanham said. "They step up to the plate when there's a heavy demand but there's no consistency."
