RESEARCH FINDINGS

Community Colleges and the Economy
The summary report for the winter 2009 League for Innovation/Campus Computing Project survey reviews what 120 community college presidents have said about the impact of the economic downturn on enrollments, hiring, budgets, and program development.

Survey of Entering Student Engagement
This new report looks at what engagement entering students need in order to succeed, and how colleges are successfully - and not successfully - engaging entering students.

Analysis: Figuring Out Freshmen
The new SENSE report argues that two-year institutions need to do a better job of personally assisting new students, especially within the 'make or break' time period of their first few weeks.
