Aerospace training center set to open today
The idea for the center came about last summer after the state Legislature failed to fund one. Snohomish County and the Aerospace Futures Alliance struck an agreement for the empty building at Paine Field and asked Edmonds Community College to oversee training efforts.

LCC Head Start program gets perfect review
Lower Columbia College Head Start has earned back-to-back perfect reviews from a federal office that oversees the agency…."A score of 100 percent on a review is very satisfying, but doing it twice in a row is extraordinary," Head Start Director Sandy Junker said in a news release.
