Port [of Vancouver] considers incubator effort

The Port of Vancouver’s incubator would focus on manufacturing….. The county is home to large fabrication and metalworking companies such as Thompson Metals and Columbia Machine. They’re supported by work force training such as Clark College’s machining technology program.

Bates Foundation appoints new officers and directors
Established in 1992, the Bates Technical College Foundation raises funds through community partnerships that serve the college and its students. With the more than $250,000 that the Foundation raises each year, students receive scholarships for tuition, books and supplies, and the college funds equipment purchases, program innovations and more.
