Grants help give downtown Pasco businesses a new look
The PDDA and City of Pasco also enlisted the help of Columbia Basin College to kick-start the projects. Rolando Garcia is the director of the HUD Hispanic Serving Institutions Assisting Communities program at CBC. He said the program received a grant of $600,000 over a period of three years to assist in continuing education for business owners and to develop a marketing plan to increase business traffic flow in the downtown area.
